I cannot wait to read this book.  Krakauer covers the life of former football player Pat Tillman that was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan.  It got delayed last year because Krakauer didn’t want to rush it and apparently Tillman’s mother did not enjoy it.  I have always liked his past books, Bobby and I had some good conversations about it.  I started tracking down his articles he used to write for Outside, they are great.  My favorite book by Krakauer is probably Under the Banner of Heaven. It’s one of those books that you try to read at the book store for free and then finally break down and buy it.
