So I’m thinking about starting a twitter account, but only for the purpose of following athletes. It seems like every time there is a breaking story on espn, it’s coming from some dudes twitter post. I hate to conform, but I wanna be part of the breaking news! In my defense, I rarely use facebook and I have never had a myspace account.

Haha, actually it is pretty amazing of the news coverage that does seem to spill out of Twitter. Even the entire Tila Tequila/Merriman seems to be playing out all on this social networking site. The most intriguing tweets would more than likely be coming from Shaq, but I wonder if fans now will be checking tweets during half-time while also pouring over the constant updates in Fantasy Football.
